In many
situations, a properly designed radiator cabinet/cover will actually
improve the heat efficiency of a central heating radiator. Studies
carried out throughout the world indicate that with a properly
constructed radiator cover/cabinet,
the heat is directed out through the front vent – this will actually
increase the temperature in the lower part of a room, otherwise known
as the living zone, and without doubt, the most important part of the
room for heating ie where people are seated or reclining.
For that reason, Churchill’s Cabinets Ltd. construct
their radiator covers/cabinets with a reflective back to project heat
forward into the room. As a result, Churchill’s Cabinets
have undertaken research and development in their quest to produce a
system that adheres to the principles of being able to efficiently heat
a room without adding extra cost to the customers’ heating bills.
Churchill’s Cabinets Ltd. have named this system the Reflectflow system
which solves the problem of trapped heat.
Reflectflow is a polystyrene sheet faced with a
reflective film that reflects heat back into the room. This ensures
heated air is reflected out through the radiator cover/cabinet and not
into the wall.
A cowl fitted on the underside of the top of the radiator cabinet/cover assists this heat convection process. Once your Churchill’s Cabinets
radiator cabinet/cover has been installed in any room in your home, it
will be more economical to heat because of the improved convection, a
result achieved because the Reflectflow system distributes the heat
more evenly around the room. |
